What's new
Recent shipped features, fixes, and reliability work on providers.avahealth.co. We update this when something user-visible changes, not on every commit.

Ava public-site boundary
improvedRemoved old job-board redirects and family-style links. This public site now stays focused on Florida staffing, provider information, salary data, comparisons, and editorial content.
July 2026
The Texas licensure link on our state-comparison page redirected through a retired board domain, and a second link buried in a blog post did not resolve at all. Both now point straight to the real site, tmb.texas.gov.
We used to lead with "1.4M+ providers." The database behind that number got cut down to fit a free-tier plan, so the line was not true anymore. Every mention now reflects the site's current Florida staffing, salary, comparison, and editorial scope.
The /providers, /search, /states, and /specialties pages published real names, NPI numbers, and locations in public search results. That tree is gone now. It was built for SEO, never delivered on that, and kept a lot of personal data open to anyone who found it. Old links redirect to a page that explains the change instead of a dead end. /compare, /salary, and /staffing are unaffected.
June 2026
The tab icon and the PWA/app icons still showed an old monogram. They now show the Ava cross-and-leaf mark on a white background.
Terms and Privacy are now native pages at /terms and /privacy, written for how this site works, including its use of public NPPES NPI Registry data and the listed-provider opt-out path.
Search was quietly returning nothing for everyone because of how the directory query was scoped. It is fixed. You can search the full directory of NPI-verified providers again. We also stopped a caching bug that could show a state page as empty when it was not.
Every page that emits structured data for Google now passes it through a single safe helper that escapes it correctly. This closes a latent cross-site-scripting path before it could ever be used. Nothing changes in what you see.
Hiring teams now have a clear page at /staffing that explains how Ava Health recruiting works, in plain language. State and specialty directory pages point recruiters to it when they want help filling a role.
May 2026
Published a data study on Florida physician supply, built from public registry counts. It is a citable reference for anyone writing or thinking about healthcare staffing in the state.
Ava Health enrolled in E-Verify
improvedAva Health Partners LLC is now enrolled in the federal E-Verify program (Company ID 3024987). It does not change anything for providers in the directory. It confirms that any future Ava Health hire goes through federal work-eligibility verification.
llms.txt for AI search
improvedAdded an llms.txt file at the site root so ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity can read the directory structure cleanly when someone asks them about healthcare providers.
Faster indexing on Bing and Yandex
reliabilityWired up IndexNow and Bing Webmaster Tools so new and updated pages get picked up by Bing, Yandex, and other search engines in minutes instead of days.
