How to Get Your RN License in Ohio 2026

Ohio is a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) member state, meaning RNs who hold a multistate compact license from another NLC state can practice in Ohio without obtaining a separate Ohio license. Ohio joined the enhanced NLC in January 2023. The Ohio Board of Nursing (OBN) administers all RN licensure at nursing.ohio.gov.
